846. Catherine Sue KNIPP ⁽¹⁾ was born on 8 Apr 1955 in Stovall Hospital, Grayson, Carter Co., Kentucky. Sue attended grade school at Shell Rock Elementry in Carter County, Ky. Shellrock was bought out by the Corps of Engineers for the Grayson Lake. She then attended Grahn Elementry in Grahn, Ky. Sue graduated from West Carter County Highschool in 1974. After getting married in 1974, Sue worked at Bishop's drugstore in Morehead, Ky and then Wise Fashions. She accompanied her husband on his duty assignments in the US Army, first living at Fort Knox, Ky and then Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Sue devoted herself to her growing family. She believed it very important to be at home for her children and husband. She is an excellent wife and mother as evidenced by the accomplishments of her children. Sue has a very pleasant personality. Sue enjoys visiting and conversation more than any hobby. She is very dedicated to her parents and was always there to help when she could. Although small of stature, Sue was known to have the ability to take up for herself. She will tell one what she thinks.

She was married to William Talmadge HAMILTON Jr. on 30 Nov 1974 in Pleasant Hill, Carter County, Olive Hill, Kentucky. William Talmadge HAMILTON Jr.⁽¹⁾ was born on 22 Feb 1954 in Elk Lick, Morehead, Kentucky. Born in My grandmother Grace Lovely's home on Elk Lick, North Fork, Rowan County Ky. Delivered by Louise Caudill. Grew up on Castle farm just next to Clinton Hamilton Farm. Attended elementry school at Upper Tygart One through 8 grade. Then went to Olive Hill High and finished last year 1972 at West Carter High School. Attended Morhead State University 1972 through 1976 and earned BA in Sociology(Social Work). Minor in Military Science. Commission Second Lieutenant USAR 1976. Attended US Armor School at Ft. Knox. Stationed at Ft. Sill. Ok. 1976 through 1978. Promoted to rank of Captian in the USAR Commanded Co. B, 2 Bn, 400th Regt. 100 Div, Flemingsburg Kentucky. Served as Battalion Adjutant, 2 Bn 400th Regt, 100 Div. Russell Cave Pike, Lexington, Ky. Served as HHD Commander, 1s BDE, 100th Division, Lexington, Ky. Completed three Masters Degrees At Morehead State University. Completed Masters in Social Work through the University of Kentucky in December 1998. Worked 22 years as Social Worker for the Cabinet For Human Resources as Adult/Child Protection Worker. Served as Supervisor over Montgomery County Social Services 1989 to 1991 and presently serving as supervisor for Bath and Menifee County Social Services. Served as Scoutmaster for Troop 58, BSA and as an Assistant Scoutmaster for over 15 years. Catherine Sue KNIPP and William Talmadge HAMILTON Jr. had the following children:

1225 i. William Joseph HAMILTON⁽¹⁾ was born on 10 Jul 1977 in Ft. Sill, Comanche Co., Lawton, Oklahoma. Billy Joe graduated from Rowan County Senior High School as Valedictorian. He had a 4.126 average. He won a $23000 annual scholarship from Pepperdine University, Malibu California. He chose to accept a Full Presidential Scholarship at Morehead State University. He graduated from Morehead State University in May of 1999 Summa Cum Laude with a double major of English and Speech with a minor in French. Billy Joe accompanied his French Class on a 6 week tour of France and he discovered that he could speek French fluently. Billy Joe was recognized as being the outstanding student in French, and English. He was chosen as outstanding student for his entire college. Billy Joe was recognized by the Morehead State Alumni Association as being the most outstanding future alumni. Billy Joe immediately moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to work with adult residential where he is currently a supervisor.
1226 ii. Susan Nichole HAMILTON⁽¹⁾ was born on 27 Jun 1980 in Morehead, Kentucky. Nichole attended grade school at Tilden Hogge Elementry, Cranston Rd. Rowan County, Kentucky. She attended Middle School at Morehead Middle School and graduated from Rowan County Senior Highschool in Morehead, Ky. Nichole graduated with High Distinction and with the Commonwealth Deploma. She was awarded a scholarship at Morehead State University. She is majoring in Teacher education at Morehead. Nichole enjoys clowning around and is good at keeping others laughing. She is a hard worker.
1227 iii. Kayla Dawn HAMILTON⁽¹⁾ was born on 9 Aug 1983 in Morehead, Kentucky. Kayla attended gradeschool at Tilden Hogge Elementry, Rowan County, Ky. Kayla attended Morehead Middleschool. She currently attends Rowan County Senior Highschool and is a Junior. Kayla has many friends and enjoys talking to them and going rollerskating and bowling with them. Kayla is a good student and aspires to going to college.
