12. John KNIPP ^(1)(15) was born in 1786. He died in Green Co., Tenn.. He was buried in Sinking Springs, Green Co., Tenn.. 1810 Wythe County, VA, census:"John Knip--1M 16-26, 1F under 10, 1F 16-26." The one male and one female 16-26 would be John and Dolly. This would mean John and Dolly had a daughter under 10.

He was married to Dolly CLEAVES on 3 Dec 1807 in Wythe Co., Virginia. Dolly CLEAVES⁽¹⁾ was born. John KNIPP and Dolly CLEAVES had the following children:
