Alexander Roberts (b. December 04, 1881, d. August 30, 1963)

Alexander Roberts (son of James Monroe Roberts and Rachel Jane Farler) was born December 04, 1881 in Breathitt Co. Ky., and died August 30, 1963 in Wisconsin Missouri. He married (1) Louisa Miller. He married (2) Louentasia Turner on 1912. He married (3) Lucinda Napier.

Funeral Services for Alex Roberts,81,
of Long Lake, Wis. were held Tues with
the Rev. David Sandquist of the Maple
Grove Covenant church officiating.

Mr. Roberts died of a heart attack last
friday at his home at Long Lake. He was
born on December 4, 1881.

He is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. James
(Mollie) Vasileff of Centerline, Michigan;
Mrs. Charlie (Addie) Gross of Quicksand, Ky.,
Mrs. Maurice (Lillian) Clement of Dearborn, Mich.,
Mrs. June (Rachel) McPherson of Winchester, Ky.,
Mrs. Herbert (Opal) Duncan of East Detroit Mich.,
Mrs. John (Cora) Haney of Cannel City, KY.,
Janice Napier of Hazard Ky., and two sons,
Willie S. Napier of Long Lake, and Carl Napier
of Green Bay Wisconsin, and a sister, Mrs. Sarah
(Roberts) Smith of Rushville Ohio.

Thirty-six grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren
also survive.

Miss Grace Cole of Tipler, Wis. sang "Nearer My
God To Thee" and "Just As I Am" She was
accompanied by Mrs. Phyllis Smith of Caspian

Pallbearers were George Roberts, John Roberts,
William R. Roberts, Wallace Cooper, William
Smith and Alex Antoskiewicz

Wier's Funeral Home in Florance Wisconsin was in
charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Long
Lake Cemetery.

Out-of-town relatives attending the funeral
were Mr. and Mrs. Hugh L. Phillips of Ferndale
Mich.; Mrs. Lillian Clement of Dearborn; Carl
Napier of Green BAy; Mr and Mrs. Wesley Howell,
Tipler;Clifford Jones, Iron River; Mr and Mrs.
Hilbert Sonkowsky, Manitowoc; Mrs. Clyde Sundberg,
Crandon; Mrs Joy Bennett, Rhineander.
