Segur, b. 1914; Grandparents: Esch, Nafziger, Segur, Martin: Great Grandparents: Esch, Schertz, Nafziger, Gingerich, Segur, Burch, Martin, Herriman; Doris married Bruce M. Borthwick, April 20, 1963; Bruce died Nov. 16, 2002; remarried Norman L. Heinemann May 21, 2006; Father's family is descended from Swiss-French Anabaptist roots; immigrant ancestors included Christian Esch, b. 1818 Dorsterhof, Bas Rhin, FR and immigrated to Woodford Co. IL via New Orleans in 1837; mother's family is descended from New England farmers/blacksmiths; her father A.B. Segur founded Motion Time Analysis Industrial Engineering firm in Oak Park, IL; both of my parents were graduates of the U. of IL Engineering School; I am fluent in German; attended the Free U of Berlin in 1958 before the wall and am interested in European roots of these families.
