Notes for Rachel Missouri Shows:
Note: Per Denver Ragland. Rachel and Leah were twins born January 24, 1857 in LA. They were not quite 2 when their parents died. Rev. Francis Marion 'Sank' Hobson, who was married to their older sister Mary Catherine, was granted Guardianship of the Shows minor children by the courts of Bibb Co, AL in January 1859. In August of the same yeat, the mortality census records the death of Rachel Missouri from spinal affliction.
