LINCOLN County Tn - KELSO NEWSPAPER December 6, 1894
"Mr. Tom Phillips came near getting his house destroyed by fire a few days ago."

Note: Tom Phillips was elected sheriff of Lincoln Co. in 1915
and served two terms. Lived on a farm near Kelso. He was a
member of Masonic lodge, Church of Christ and the K.K.K.
A city policeman when he died.
