Johannes Peter Hetzer was my grandfather, born Mossingen Germany 8 Feb 1873 in Mossingen Germany. Immigrated to U.S. with his brother George about 1881. Settled in Buffalo N.Y. Evenually moved to Pittsburgh Pa. Married Francis S. Schott 1899. Johannes' (John) parents were Peter Hetzer and Katherina Barbara Haller. I have traced Johannes' parent back to Peter Hetzer and Catherina Anstett 1765. We usually have a family reunion around the 4th of July.
