I am the Family Historian for the VANDAL Family of West Virginia. Most of my success has been in searching for the descendants and ancestors of Abraham and Mary (DILLON) VANDAL. Over the years the families have changed the spelling to VANDALL, VANDALE, VANDEL, VANDELL AND VAN DEL. These VANDALs are not related to the French/Canadian VANDALs as far as we have been able to determine. I have also been working on the following surnames: HIELD, BUEHLER, WOODSTOCK, DUNCAN, DILLON, TUROV and KEOWN.
