Notes for Rev. John M. Beaton:
United Church Minister. Studied at McGill, supported by brother Alec. Served at the Grenfell Mission with Sir Wilfred Grenfell. In the 1940's, was the minister at Russelltown Quebec, where the family gathered in the summer.

He drowned. Katie refers to him and his drowning in her book 'Psychic Experiences". His date of death was 7 May 190? I'm not sure of the date, but it was before the 1901 census.
