Notes for Flora Beaton:
The 1871 census says she was born in Scotland, and the 1891 census says she was born in Scotland, but that Catherine's mother (Flora) was born in NS.

Marriage Notes for John Johnson and Flora Beaton:
John's brother Ronald (b. 1836) married Flora's sister Sarah (b. 1838) in the Presbyterian Church in Leitche's Creek in 1865, so John and Flora may have married there as well, several years earlier.
