Lewis Alonzo Hall (son of Lewis S. Hall and Mary) was born April 12, 1837 in Camden, Waldo, Maine, and died December 30, 1915 in Colorado Springs, El Paso, Colorado. He married Celia Marie Sperry on August 31, 1866 in Bushnell, Illinois, daughter of Amedius Sperry and Esther Uptson.

1880 Census shows he was living in Colorado Springs working as a carpenter. 1900 Census he is living in Peyton, Colorado working as a farmer. 1910 Census shows him living at 810 E. Monroe working as a carpenter (age 73). 1870 Census he is living in Union, Illinois (Fulton County) and working as a carpenter.
