| Welcome to my home page. I hope you will find something interesting here, and maybe even find a connection to your family. I am new to geneology. My interest began when I decided to locate my paternal grandfather. We had never known anything about him except his name. Eventually, I found what happened to him. Although he had passed away, he had fathered two daughters that we had not known about. The happy reunion prompted me to look into another line. I started looking for the children of my great-grandfather Darcie Arthur Amack from his first marriage (I am descended from his second marriage). After over a year of searching, I received a response to one of my postings in May, 2000. We are happy to have found the family. There are over 1,300 individuals in my tree. Some surnames in my tree are AMACK, IRELAND, LEEK, SALTER, THORNTON, WALTON, and WISE. Some lines date as far back as 1516 in England, 1730 in Ireland, and the Theunis Janse Van Amack family in 1673 in the US. For an index of individuals, click on the Gedcom Tree below and type F. I am eternally grateful for other researchers that have provided me with names, dates and places that I was previously unable to find.
