My father did all the research into the Whitfield family before he died. Unfortunatly all his hard work has been lost. I am therefore starting again from scratch.
Howlett is my married name and it wouldn't be right to research my family and not that of my husband. Then along came Bell this was included as it was my mother-in-laws mother. She was a British Home Child and of course this is an important issue and worth looking into. Then my husbands grandmother.........as you can see one thing has lead to another etc, etc so here I am desperatly trying to research everyone...well it feels that way at times.
