John Collins (Collens), one farm on the waters of Little River joining
the lands of William Conley, 105 acres having thereon two cabbens
[sic] and one tub grist mill, one stable, valued at $160; a tract on
the waters of Meadow Creek joining the lands of Chesley Ward, 175
acres, having thereon two cabbens, valued at $150; total $310.
John was living with son Elijah in the 1850 Census. He was married to Effie
CONLEY in Baywood, Grayson, VA, USA. 49. Effie CONLEY
was born in 1775 in of Baywood, Grayson, VA, USA. She died in 1830. Children
were:
