18. Addis L. LINN was born in 1832 in PA. He resided in 1862 in Dimmick, , Illinois. He served in the military on 27 Aug 1862 in Mustered in 104th Infantry, Co. C. LaSalle Co., Illinois. He died on 23 Dec 1862 in Camp Lew Wallace. 1860 Cenus, LaSalle, LaSalle, Illinois.

I have "made up" Addis LINN 2, 3, and 4 and given them approximate birth years to fill the gap between Addis 5 and William LINN, who married Jane ADDIS, thus accounting for the name. When actual information can be found, I will fill in the correct names and dates.

There are two Addis LINNs in the Illinois Civil War database. I have sent an e-mail request for their records --it is possible that they are the same man.

Illinois Statewide Marriage Index 1763-1900, Vol. B License 3182. Groom's name is spelled "Eddis." He was married to Frances Ford CLARK on 12 Dec 1857 in , LaSalle, Illinois.

19. Frances Ford CLARK was born in 1840 in , , ILL. She died on 13 Sep 1914 in Tacoma, Pierce, Washington, USA. When Emma Ruth LINN died, her obituary listed a sister "Dolly." Either one of these daughters had a nickname or there is another child. Children were:

i. Luke LINN was born in 1859 in LaSalle, LaSalle, ILL. Named on 1860 Census, LaSalle Co.
