I am researching the Jesse H. Hulsey family from Walker County, Georgia. Jesse H. Hulsey was born in 1844, probably in Georgia. Jesse H. Hulsey is first found as a Union soldier with Company E, 12th Tennessee Calvary Volunteer commanded by J. C. Rogers. Jesse joined the Civil War on December 12, 1863, probably in Greene County, Tennessee. He was mustered out on July 1, 1865, at or near Fort Leveanworth, Kansas. He married Eliza A. Fillers, on November 12, 1863, in Lafayette, Walker County, Georgia. Eliza A. Fillers was born in Greene County, Tennessee, the daughter of Micheal and Sarah (Littell/Little) Fillers. Jesse H. and Eliza A. Hulsey are found on the 1870 and 1880 census living in Walker County, Georgia. In 1880, they have 5 children, Ada or Adah, b. June, 1867, Thomas P., b. October, 1868, Clementine, b. 1870, James Newton, b.1873, and Lola or Ida, b. 1876. In May, 1882, another son, Walter Alfred, was born, probably in Georgia. Sometime after 1880, Jesse and Eliza moved their family to Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas. Jesse H. Hulsey died on September 6, 1893, in Springdale, Arkansas. On the 1900 census, Eliza A. Hulsey is a widow with 2 children at home, Jessie M., a daughter, b. November, 1886 and William Dyson (Willie D.), b. November, 1890. Eliza A. Hulsey married John J. Goldsborough in February, 1903, in Springdale, Arkansas. Sometime prior to 1914, Eliza Hulsey Goldsborough moved to Yates Center, Kansas, to live with her daughter Jessie, who was then Mrs. Richard Harrison Trueblood. Eliza died sometime around March of 1927.

Any information concerning any of the above named persons would be greatly appreciated.
