Per Janice Quinn:
"Most of the Osbornes are buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Jackson Parish, some I found in Grambling Memorial Gardens in Lincoln Parish. According to oral history, James Osborne Sr. donated 3 acres of land to build a church and a school. The school is no later in existence but the church is still there on the original land, it has been rebuild three times. You may want to check the land records because last year we discovered that Emanuel's land is still in the family after all these years. We are planning another trip soon, I will have more time to check out more records."
