Clarence Hyde known as "Aunt Clarence" to his nieces, died at the VA Hospital in Indianapolis in 1973.
Clarence lived for a while in LA, California.

Clarence, in his latter years, had become something of a "pack rat". I remember after his death going through a box of miscellaneous things, mostly I remember seeing a lot of salt and pepper packets, the old kind that you got at fast food restaurants. One item that I kept was his checkbook cover. It was a simple black plastic type, the one the banks give you when you open your account, except it was personalized with his name on it. Somewhere along the line, with all my moves, I lost it.

She was a graduate of Memorial High School in 1937.
