Fanny Elizabeth Davies (daughter of James Davies and Mary Lewis) was born 24 Jun 1874 in Llanbadarn Fynydd, Radnorshire, UK⁷³, and died 11 Feb 1947 in Abertillery, Monmouthshire, UK⁷⁴. She married Charles Rogers on 11 Feb 1896 in Knighton, Radnorshire, UK⁷⁵, son of John Rogers and Ann Morgan.

Notes for Fanny Elizabeth Davies:
Born in a small house called Rock Cottage in a small village where her father was the police constable.

Family tradition was that she was a singer in the choir of Chester Cathedral.

After marriage of her daughter lived with her and her husband in Abertillery until her death in the severe winter of 1947. Buried in Rhayader churchyard.
