60. Hezekiah MARTIN ^(38)(39) was born about 1775 in Amherst (Nelson) County, Virginia. ⁽⁴⁰⁾ Most likely born in that portion of Amherst County which later became Nelson County. He died before 1 Mar 1841 in Oglethorpe County, GA. ⁽¹⁶⁾ He was married to Diana "Dicey" STRATTON on 4 Dec 1794 in Amherst County, Virginia. ⁽⁴¹⁾ John Stratton (Strutton) and Reuben Crawford were sureties for this marriage.

61. Diana "Dicey" STRATTON ⁽⁴²⁾ died before Nov 1812 in Nelson County, VA.⁽⁴³⁾ She was born in Lexington Parish, Amherst County, VA.⁽⁴⁴⁾ "Dicey" was an old nickname for Diana. Children were:

30 i. Cornelius G. MARTIN.
ii. Polly H. MARTIN⁽³⁹⁾.
iii. Mildred G. MARTIN⁽³⁹⁾ was born on 26 Oct 1799 in Virginia.⁽⁴⁵⁾ She died on 23 Sep 1880 in Henry County, GA. She died following a fall. She was buried in Bethel Methodist Cemetary.
iv. Sophiah R. MARTIN⁽³⁹⁾. Sophiah was deceased and had left two children at the time Hezekiah wrote his last will (11-14-1840).
v. Lucy MARTIN^{(39) (38)}.
vi. unknown son 1 MARTIN⁽⁴⁶⁾. 1810 Census shows 8 children, of whom we only have 5 names. Others may have died before maturity. Since Dicey is shown on this census and Hezekiah remarries in two years, it is possible that Dicey died in childbirth.
vii. unknown son 2 MARTIN⁽⁴⁷⁾.
viii. unknown daughter MARTIN⁽⁴⁸⁾.
