2. Charles Wesley RASCHE was born on 31 Jul 1906 in Burlington, Iowa. He died 2:12 PM, 20 Jun 1988 in Burlington, Iowa. Died of liver cancer. He had several months notice of his impending death and elected to stay at home rather than to risk surgery that was not likely to be successful. He suffered from pain in his abdomen and progressed from independence to a walker, to a wheelchair, to a hospital bed in the dining room. His children, grandchildren, and other family were able to visit for "a last time" and he was able to keep his dignity in his own home to the end. His daughter Carol, an RN, was able to spend extended time with him and all of his children were with him when he died.
, He was married to Anna Lucille HENDRICKSON on 15 Aug 1928 in 425 Ironwood, Burlington, Iowa.

3. Anna Lucille HENDRICKSON was born on 4 Dec 1908 in Burlington, Iowa. She died on 18 Mar 1995 in Burlington, Iowa. Chuck, Marilyn and Carol were home for a visit when she died. Marilyn and Carol happened to be with her at the time of her death shortly after breakfast. She had suffered from the effects of chronic leukemia, bouts of pneumonia, and chemotherapy for a malignant tumor in her lung, when she died of congestive heart failure. Children were:
