15. Alton Pearce JUHLIN was born on 17 May 1919 in Lakeland, Florida. He died on 28 Feb 1998 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.⁽²⁾ Al had gone to the hospital for angioplasty surgery shortly before Christmas. At the hospital, the medical staff determined that quintuple bypass surgery would be needed instead. He recovered well from that surgery and was sent home. A few weeks later he developed a blood clot in a lung and was taken back to the hospital. The clot moved into his heart sac. A second open-heart surgery was required to remove the clot. Recovery from this second surgery was slow, requiring him to remain in intensive care for almost two months. Eventually he had recovered enough to be moved to a rehabilitation center, where, a few days later, his heart stopped beating. It took seven minutes to restart his heart and the staff were not certain how long his heart had been stopped before it was noticed. He did not regain consciousness and died not too long after life-support equipement was removed.

He was married to Minnie Myrtle WHITE (daughter of William Arthur WHITE and Alice_Jane (Jennie A.) HILL) on 3 Jun 1944. Alton Pearce JUHLIN and Minnie Myrtle WHITE had the following children:
