130. Michael Hartman ^{(1)(10) (2)(3)} was born about 1712 in Germany. He died on 20 Nov 1768 in Berks County, Pa. Michael Hartman came to America on September 5, 1748 on the ship "Edinburgh", landing in Philadelphia. It is believed that his wife, Magdalen, and possibly four of his oldest children arrived with their parents.
Michael burial records indicate that he was a carpenter and that he died of dropsy and that burial took place 2 days after his death. On June 5 ,1772 Letters of Administration were granted to his widow Magdalena Hartman, as recorded in Book 3 Pgae 76 at the Berks County Court House. The location of his farm is listed as "District,near Oley Township".
His estate in 1772 was valued at 14 pounds, 4 shilling, 7 pence, and 25 acres of land in Oley. His land was sold for 45 pounds, 4 shillings and after his debts of 30 pounds , 7 shillings, and 3 pence were satisfied, the remainder of the funds were to be used to educate his minor children Michael, James, Jacob, and Catherine

131. Magdalen ^{(1)(2) (3)} was born in 1714 in Germany. She died on 30 Jul 1798 in Berks County, Pa. Children were:

i. Francis Hartman^{(2) (3)} was born in 1738.
65 ii. Mary Barbara Hartman.
iii. Magdelana Hartman^{(2) (3)} was born in 1742.
iv. Elizabeth Hartman^{(2) (3)} was born in 1743.
v. Michael Hartman^{(2) (3)} was born in 1747.
