OBITUARY - RUSSELL M. O'BRYAN

Russell M. O'Bryan, 31, Lawrence Kan., formerly of Wyandotte County, died Friday [26 Jan 1976] at home of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and moved to Lawrence six months ago. He was a graduate of Donnelly college and the University of Kansas. He was an employee of the Fox Maintenance Company, Lawrence. Mr. O'Bryan was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He leaves his mother, Mrs. Marjorie O'Bryan; two brothers, Carl O'Bryan and Mark O'Bryan, and a sister, Miss Jeannie O'Bryan, all of 1640 S. Baltimore, Kansas City, Kansas; two other brothers Sidney O'Bryan, Goleta, Calif., and Stephen O'Bryan, 5211 Metropolitan, Kansas City, Kansas, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. V.C. Hartley, Lakeland, Fla. Services will be at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday at the church; burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Prayer services will be at 7 P.M. tonight at the Simmons Chapel; where friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. today.
