How are you? Are you digging trenches every day? I suppose you are working hard. I am glad you are getting enough to eat. Uncle George said to turn in four names to your Capt. every day. You will be made lieut. before you come home. I would like to be with you - how long would it take me to walk down there? I suppose the [bugler wakes] you every morning.
