(including connecting families of Hanson, Haughey, Lamb, Laurence, McClaren, EcEwen, Skeer, Sweesy, Vandegrift, Westfall and others)" by Robert E. King and Doris R. (Van Dusen)Jones.

RECORDS OF THE FAMILY OF PIETER DE CONINCK (I) & HIS WIFE ANNE DE PUYDT IN THE NETHERLANDS

On pages 7-8 in this chapter it was indicated that Pieter de Coninck (I) and his wife Anne de Puydt had at least 6 children. Of these 6, records of 4 are noted in Zeeland:
1) PIETER DE CONINCK (II) (Peter King II) -married by 1670 to Anna Calet (also spelled Colleth) -- they are the ancestors to the King family traced in this book
2) Jacob de Coninck -married by 1668 to Agnes de Riviere (see below)
3) Anne de Coninck (nickname "Tanneky") -she served as a witness on 27 Feb 1671 to the baptism of a child of Pieter de Coninck II & Anna Calet and is thus assumed to be the "Anne de Coninck" baptized at Wytschaete on 15 July 1637 as a child of Pieter de Coninck (I) & Anne de Puydt
4) Cornelis de Coninck - he served as a witness to church records in Sint Anna ter Muiden on 25 Feb 1680. Since the name "Cornelius" later appears in the King family in America, it is thus speculated that he was a brother to Pieter de Coninck II (Peter King II, the immigrant). Proof, however, is lacking.

He was married to Anne (Tanneken) de Puydt before 1634 in Flanders (prob). Anne (Tanneken) de Puydt^{(3) (4)} was born about 1605 in Wytschaete, Flanders, Belgium. She died after 1649 in The Netherlands. Pieter (I) King (de Coninck) and Anne (Tanneken) de Puydt had the following children:
