.....Francis King II married by the early 1750's as at least 1 of his 4 children (namely Francis King III) was provably born during this time. In his will Francis named his wife "Ann" yet her maiden surname is unknown and it is also uncertain if she was the mother of his chi1dren (she might have been his 2nd wife). In fact, all that is known about Ann is that she apparently outlived him--thus dying after 1794. Also it is evident that she and Francis lived in St. Georges Hundred in New Castle County, Delaware where he apparently farmed all his life.......
.
11. Ibid. .
Vol. 2, Page 1199 .... Francis King III was born between 1750 and 1755 as calculated from census returns of Appoquinimink Hundred in New Castle Co., Del. for 1800, 1810, and 1820, and also the 1830 census of the 1st Election
District of Cecil Co., Md. He was apparently born in New Castle Co., .....
.

Del. Subsequently, Francis King III died prior to 18 Jan 1832 in
Cecil Co., Md. when his will dated 13 Nov 1830 was brought into court
for probate (noted in Cecil Co., Md. Will Book 8, p. 387). In it,
he willed that his wife (not named) was to receive one-third of his
estate with the rest to go to his son Jacob King who was living with
him in 1830.
