It is noted Emeline Bacon Married Darius H. Petrie 1 October 1887 and moved to California.

Purchased 100 acres in lots 53 & 68 in Colebrook, Ashtabula County, Ohio, on August 18, 1856 from Adolphus Bacon and wife (unnamed): Ashtabula County, Ohio Land Records < Book 56 page 210;
The LDS microfilm 969465 shows the following:
The 1860 Census shows Albert as a 25 years old farmer with real estate value of $2594.00 and personal estate of $800.00. The following children were at home:
Joseph 3 yr.
Asa 1 yr.
Eunice was either a child at 6 months or a relative at 67 years. (Film not clear).
A book containing information on Ashtabula County included an article about the Colebrook United Methodist Church. This article states that in 1860 the church formed a committee which consisted of Albert Z. Bacon and E. C. Bacon [probably Ebenezer C. Bacon(1816-1875)]. On Jan. 29, 1870 an agreement was signed to build the church; It is stated that the log timber's for the tower were cut and dressed in the Bacon's woods. The church is still standing and being used today. I have pictures taken on my visit to Colebrook in June of 1998.
According to ACGS death record a E. C. Bacon died June 4, 1875 a year before Albert did. This is confirmed by the dates on his grave stone in Colebrook Cemetery.

He was married to Emeline Falkner (daughter of Joseph , Jr. Falkner and Harriet Landon) on 3 Jul 1856 in Penn.. Emeline Falkner^{(2) (3)} was born on 6 Jan 1837 in South Elmsly, Glengarry Ontorio, Canada. She died on 28 Jan 1923 in Santa Ana, Orange, California. It is noted that Emeline Bacon Married Darius H. Petrie 1 October, 1887 and moved to California.
The 1900 census shows the following;
Darius, 74 yr, was born April 1826.
Emeline, 63 yr,. was born January 1837.
She and Darius have been married 13 years at the time of 1900 Venus
She is shown as have 9 children and 7 living.
Her year of immigration was 1852 and had been in the United States 48 years.
A child named Loyd Bacon, 8 yr, is listed as grandson and born December 1891.
It is noted that Loyd's father was from Ireland and mother from Ohio.
Everyone could read, write and speak English.
The farm was owned, free of debt.

25 vi. Harriett Emma Bacon^{(2) (3)} was born on 27 Nov 1868 in Colebrook, Ohio. She died on 27 Nov 1868 in Colebrook, Ohio.
26 vii. Charles M. Bacon^{(2) (3)} was born on 17 Oct 1871 in Colebrook, Ashtabula County, Ohio. He died on 4 Sep 1872.

Information from Saralou Garland shows Charles middle name to be Emerson
born October 26, 1871 and died Sept. 4, 1872.

Born October 17,1871 from LDS source 890258 Vol 1 (098).
27 viii. Infant of Albert and Emeline Bacon^{(2) (3)} was born in 1872 in Colebrook, Ohio. She died in 1872 in Colebrook, Ohio.

Infant Bacon is listed on Death Record Ashtabula county Page 52 Recorded
date May 16, can not make out year possibly 1873. It notes that the infant
was 6 months old and infant's father was Albert Bacon.

Also on Ashtabula county Genealogical Society of death records 1867 to
1908 shows Bacon, ??????1872 noted in Volume 1 (052) 890260 Film
LDS.


Also not that I not completely sure the child was female in my notes somewhere
it was noted that the child was female.
28 ix. Eunice Mateer Bacon^{(2) (3)} was born on 15 Aug 1874 in Colebrook, Ohio. Saralou C. Garland list Eunice as being born Abt August 14, 1873,
