John came to Bells, Texas from Alabama at the age of 18 yea rs. He was married to Virga Stewart in 1902 at Bells Texas . To this union three children were born, a daughter, Artel le, deceased; another daughter, Jesse Foy and a son, Carl o f Snyder. He was married to Jessie Walker in Sherman, Texa s in 1912. Three sons were born to the union, Lee and Scot t of Lone Wolf, and Glenco , Snyder.

From Texas the family came to Lone Wolf in 1919 and was eng aged in farming here until he moved to town in 1946, contin uing his trade as a barber in the local shops to some exten t from the time he moved here; interspersed with his farmin g activities, until he became ill in 1954 and had been in f ailing health since, suffering a stroke in November he rema ined in the hospital for three weeks, and was again hospita lized with pneumonia Sunday at the Hobart hospital where h e passed away at about 4:00 Tuesday this week.

Sister, Mrs J. E. Johnson and a brother, Walter Millirons , of Fyffe, Alabama, and a brother Paul, Camp Hill, Alabama.
