John Patrick Emms (b. May 1915, d. 26 Dec 1977)

John Patrick Emms (son of John Patrick Emms and Florence (Flossie) Rossiter) was born May 1915 in Ashford, Kent, and died 26 Dec 1977 in Eastbourne, Sussex.

Notes for John Patrick Emms:
As a result of an accident while playing football, John Patrick had one leg shorter than the other. At the time of the accident, the Doctors wanted to amputate the leg, but his father instructed them not to.

John Patrick was Christened in the Catholic faith and had blue eyes. He enjoyed sea angling and while fishing off the pier at Eastbourne he had a massive heart attack and fell off the pier into the sea. It is believed that he died before hitting the water.
