Henry Holladay Collick (b. 1839, d. 1917)

Henry Holladay Collick, 1871.

Henry Holladay Collick (son of John (Collect) Collick and Hannah (Holliday) Holladay) was born 1839 in Lyminge, Kent, and died 1917. He married (1) Jane Hague on 1861, daughter of George Hague and Sophia. He married (2) Mary Elizabeth Killick on 1894.

In the 1871 Census, Henry Collick (32) and Jane Hague Collick (38) were living at Park Farm Woodchurch, Kent. Henry was described as a Farmer of 70 acres employing 7 men and 1 Boy. Living with them were the following:-
Emma Collick, daughter aged 7, Scholar.
Florence L Collick, daughter aged 1.
Sarah A Collick, daughter aged 1 month.
Susannah Samson, aged 39, Nurse.

In the 1871 Census, daughters Jane H (5) and Clara (3) Collick were staying with the Tanton family at Mill House, Woodchurch, Kent. James W Tanton (37) was a Master Miller and Grazier.

In the 1881 Census, Henry (43) and Jane (49) are living at Myrtle House, Woodschurch. (See picture, Scrapbook item 4) Henry is decribed as a Farmer and Grazier employing 4 men. Living with them are there children, Clara E (13) and Lucy F (11) Collick.
