John (Collect) Collick (son of John (Collict) Collick and Joseph Marsh) was born 1809 in Lyminge, Kent, and died 1865. He married Hannah (Holliday) Holladay on 01 Nov 1832 in Lyminge, Kent, daughter of Henry Holladay and Hannah Young.

Notes for John (Collect) Collick:

According to the Lyminge Parish Register 1538 - 1837,
in 1833 a John & Hannah Collict of North Lyminge had Rosanna Christened (24 March 1833). John is recorded as being a shopkeeper. I am therefore assuming her to be their first born child.

According to the same source, in 1835 when Lucy Ann was born, John and Hannah were living at Etchinghill and John is recorded as being a Laborer.

In the 1861 Census John Collick (51) and Hannah Holladay (50) are living at Home Bridge Farm, Woodchurch, Kent. John is described as being a Farmer of 150 acres employing 3 Laborers and 2 Boys. Living with them were the following:-
Lucy A Collick, daughter aged 26, Farmers daughter.
Henry H Collick, son aged 22, Farmers son.
Jane E Collick, daughter aged 16, Farmers daughter.
Phillip Collick, son aged 10, Scholar.
Elizabeth W Collick, daughter aged 5, Scholar.
