6. David LIVELY ⁽¹⁾ was born on 4 Sep 1804 in Virginia. He died on 4 Nov 1889 in Monroe Co., Ind.. He was buried in Rose Hill Cem., Bloomington, Monroe, Ind.. David Lively was a farmer and moved to Indiana in 1826. In 1830 he resided in Monroe Co., IN., and in 1840 in Lawrence Co., IN. David is listed in the 1860 census as a resident of pleasant Run Twp. of Lawrence Co. It has been reported that David left home upon the second marriage of his father but this is in error. Whether David's mother remarried after his father's death in 1809 is unknown.

He was married to Catharine ARWINE on 22 Feb 1828 in Grainger Co., Tn.. Catharine ARWINE was born between 1800 and 1804 in Va. or Tn.. She died in 1850 in Lawrence Co., Ind.. She was buried in Bedford Cem., Lawrence Co., Ind.. David LIVELY and Catharine ARWINE had the following children:
