In the early 1800's he moved from Putney VT to Lyndon VT. He bought the Minister Hill Lands. He was a great student and reader and owned a large library for those days. He turned out at the Lexington alarm for Putney VT as a fifer in Captain Abaih Moore's company of minutemen in the REVOLUTION.
