George W. London (son of Levi London and Lydia Looney) was born 1846 in Maury Co., Tn, died in Boone Co., Arkansas. He married E. A. Lafoon on January 12, 1880.

He was in the confederate army, Company B, 9th Battalin Tennessee Cavalry. Appears on a Muster Roll of Officers and Men paroled in accordance with the terms of a military convention entered into the 26th day of April, 1865, between General Joseph E Johnson, Commanding Confederate Army and Major General W. T. Sherman, Commanding United States Army in North Carolina. Paroled at Charolotte, N C May 3, 1865, He migrated to Boone Co Ark. bef. 1880.
