Thomas Alexander born in Scotland 1630 but removed to Ireland, 1652 for distaste of The Parliament of Cromwell. An intense Presbyterian, but loyal to The Catholic Stuarts of whom he was a blood kinsman. A daughter Margaret married Joseph Parks. He occupied lands in County Donegal. A son, William remarkable for his corpulency, married and had four sons: Archibald, Peter, Robert and William. Archibald, The eldest was born in Cuningham Manor, County Donegal, February 4 1708 and married December 31, 1734 his first cousin, Margaret Parks. This disproves Samuel of Cecil County as brother of Archibald, but not of Thomas. The father

Thomas Alexander born 1630, Scotland, but removed to Ireland in 1652, a devout Presbyterian. A daughter of Thomas married Joseph Parks. He occupied lands in County Donegal, daughter Margaret, and a son William (fat William) who had: Archibald, Peter, Robert and William. Archibald, the eldest, was born in Cunningham Manor County Donegal February 4, 1708 married Margaret Parks his first cousin.
