Queen Isabella Mar (b. 1275, d. 1297)

Isabella Mar (daughter of Walter Fitz Allen and Marjory ______)^{474, 475, 476} was born 1275 in Kildrummy, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and died 1297 in Scotland. She married Robert De Bruce IV on Abt. 1295 in Annandale District, Dumfries, Scotland⁴⁷⁷, son of Robert De Bruce III and Marjorie De Carrick.

Isabella of Mar, daughter of the Earl of Mar, whose vast lands lay along the northeastern coast of Inverness in Scotland, was, by her short marriage to Robert Bruce and through their daughter Marjory and Marjory's son Robert II, ancestress of the Royal House of Stuart. She probably died of complications of childbirth for she died shortly after Marjorie was born in 1296.
