Ronald G Keith of William Street, West Ward, St. Marys, who has been in poor health for several years, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, June 8th. He was in his 73rd years. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Alexander Keith, he was born in Scotland and at age 17 came to Canada. He was a butcher by trade and lived in Jarvis, Belmont and Gladstone. He served in the Canadian armed forces in World War 1 and 43 years ago married Eleanor Lucas of St. Marys. He has resided here since that time. Mr. Keith worked for some years in the Whyte Packing store here. He was an adherent of the Jehovah Witnesses.
Mr. Keith is survived by his wife, two daughters, Jean, Mrs. Ted Grose, and Florence, Mrs. Beech Baker, and a son Robert Keith, all of St. Marys. He is also survived by one brother Sidney of Kent County, England and by four grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted in the L.A. Ball Chapel on Saturday afternoon by Mr. Wilmer Drager of St. Marys. Interment was made in St. Marys Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Mac Patterson, Cliff Brown, Austin Grose, Cam. Fotheringham, Jim Llanagan, Robt. Plaska.

On July 31st 1850, Thomas Rowe bought 25 acres, being the North West quarter of the West Half of Lot # 23, Concession # 12, East Zorra Township, Oxford County. In the next year, 1851, Thomas Rowe married his first wife, Elizabeth Jane Kelloway, b in 1828. (In at least one early written Rowe Family Tree, Elizabeth Jane Kelloway's last name is spelled, 'Callaway', it is thought from mispronunciation, her name for more than 40 years has been incorrectly spelled).

I know very little about my Great Grandmother, Elizabeth Jane Kelloway, born in 1828, it is reported she was born in Scotland. It would appear Elizabeth had at least one brother, William, who also lived in the Kickson area. In later years Thomas Rowe and William Kelloway had financial arrangements, these are reported on the Land Records of Lot # 24, Concession # 11, East Zorra Township, Oxford County.

Thomas Rowe, b 1824, in later years bought over 200 acres of land on Lots # 23 and Lot # 24. Thomas and Elizabeth Jane (Kelloway) Rowe had four children listed on the Family Page.

Elizabeth Jane (Kelloway) Rowe, died January 21 1862, she was buried in the Trinity Anglican Cemetery, two miles north of Hickson, on # 59 Highway.

Prayer". We saw them in Montreal in February and the little guy was only a

It is reported this family lived at or near a village by the name of Coryton, near Tavistock, Devonshire, England. It must be presumed that Susanna and John Rowe died and are buried at or near Coryton or Tavistock, Devonshire, England.

We do not know how many children Susanna and John Rowe really had, but on April 22 1784, a son Thomas was born, he was baptized the next day, April 23 1784, in the Anglican Parish Church in Coryton, Devonshire. He was raised at or near Coryton, Devonshire.
