Notes for Andrew Joseph Boyer:
Carpenter, seved in the Union Army inthe American Civil War;he was imprisoned in Springfield mistakenly as Confederate spy. His wif Sarah Ann walked fifty (50) miles with their first son James in her arms, to identify Joseph and clear up the misunderstanding.
