He was married to Bertie Ellen CHAMBERLAIN (daughter of Jack Belden CHAMBERLAIN and Olive May ABOLT) on 11 Apr 1910 in Emporia, Lyon Co., Kansas. Bertie Ellen CHAMBERLAIN was born on 28 Jan 1891 in Severy, Kansas. She died on 7 Sep 1980 in Emporia, Lyon Co., Kansas. John Wesley LYONS and Bertie Ellen CHAMBERLAIN had the following children:
