was born about 1884. He died on 10 Jun 1969. He was buried in Oakdale
Cemetery, Henderson County, NC. He was also known as E.B.. HENDERSONVILLE--
E.B. Sitton 85, of 602 Old Spartanburg Road, died Tuesday morning in a local
hospital after a period of declining health.
He was a native of Henderson County and a retired carpenter. Surviving
are two sons, Guy V. of East Flat Rock and Cleatues Sitton of Hendersonville;
one daughter, Mrs John Schroedre of Liberty, NY; ten grandchildren and ten great
grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday in Thomas Shepherd Memorial Chapel.
The Rev. Walter Lee Lanier and the Rev. Jerry Orr Jr. will officiate. Burial
will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Grandsons and nephews will be pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday.
He was married to Docia Kimbrell. Eugene Blake Sitton and
Docia Kimbrell had the following children:
