He was married to Mary Polly Williams Burgin (daughter of James Burgin and Leah Burgin). Mary Polly Williams Burgin was born on 6 Oct 1813. She died on 15 Mar 1857. She was buried in Sharon UMC Cemetery, Fairview, NC. Littleton (Ton) Lytle and Mary Polly Williams Burgin had the following children:

61 iii. George Hardy Lytle was born about 1839. He died in the Civil War.. His body was never recovered. He was never married.

66 viii. Twins Lytle was born on 12 Apr 1865. He (or she) died in infancy.

He was married to Minerva A. Gilliam on 14 Dec 1858. Minerva A. Gilliam was born on 18 Feb 1836. She died on 7 Jan 1917 in Buncombe County, NC. She was buried in Sharon UMC Cemetery, Fairview, NC. Littleton (Ton) Lytle and Minerva A. Gilliam had the following children:
