George Lytle and Susannah "Ann" Clark) on Aug 30
1844 in McDowell County, NC. Thomas B. Lytle was born
on May 6 1816. He appeared on the census in 1880 in McDowell County, NC. Crooked
Creek Township, House #81: Lytle, Thomas B. 64 years old, a farmer living with
wife Nancy 58; Louisa M. 25, daughter; and Callie L. 18, daughter. He died on
Oct 28 1889 in Arkansas. He was buried about Oct 30 1889 in Linwood Cemetery,
Greene County, Arkansas. Thomas B. fifth child of George and Ann Lytle
married Mary M. Lytle August 30 1844. Mary was a daughter of Millington and
Polly Lytle. Their children were John M. and Louisa Marie. Mary died in 1856;
and in 1858 Thomas married Nancy Phipps. Thomas and Nancy had two children,
Leah Callie Lytle and Joseph F. Lytle. Joseph was adopted by Thomas, he was
Nancy's child by a previous marriage. Sometime after the fall of 1880 the family
moved to Pargould, (Greene County) Arkansas.
