William Lee "Bill" Lytle.1040. Luther Harland Lytle was born on Apr 23 1900 in McDowell County, NC. He was a World War I veteran and retired from the carpentry trade in 1961. He died of a stroke on 27 March 1976 in Old Fort, NC. He was buried in Bethlehem Cemetery, Old Fort, NC.
He was married to Mamie Ethel Lackey (daughter of John Mills
Lackey and Elizabeth "Jane" Bright) about 1922.
Mamie Ethel Lackey was born on Nov 17 1896. Mamie worked as a nurse
in her young adulthood, however, was a housewife most of her married life. She
died of pneumonia on November 28, 1981 in McDowell Hospital, Marion, NC. She
was buried on November 30, 1981 in Bethlehem Cemetery, Old Fort, NC. Luther
Harland Lytle and Mamie Ethel Lackey had the following children:
