24. Alexander McPherson MALCOLM Jr. was born on Jan 13 1910 in Winfield, Queens County, NY. He died on Jun 29 1995 in Rocky Mount, NC. Lived first in Woodside, Queens County, NY until October 1916 When he moved into the house his father had built at 42-13 79th Street, Elmhurst, Queens County, NY. Moved to 1109 Bolling Road, Roanoke Rapids, NC on December 22, 1992.

Graduated from Public School 89 and Newtown High School (1928). Attended Cooper Union in NY City briefly, taking courses in ornamental plastering. The great depression ended the market for ornate decorative plastering and he worked the rest of his career as a general plasterer, belonging to the Plasterers and Cement Masons Union, Local 60.

He was married to Ruth Kathryn GREENE (daughter of Edward Leon GREENE and Ruth Gertrude JONES) on Aug 20 1938 in Elmhurst Methodist Church, Elmhurst NY. Double wedding with Charles Howard and Alice Blanchard Greene. Took express train to Portland afterward for honeymoon at Cape Elizabeth. Ruth Kathryn GREENE was born on Nov 30 1911 in South Paris, Maine. Alexander McPherson MALCOLM Jr. and Ruth Kathryn GREENE had the following children:
