FIRST GENERATION

1. Abraham RIDEOUT was born in 1685 in England. He died in Haverhill, Essex Co., MA. Unless otherwise noted, the source of information in this family tree is an 8-page typed document probably prepared by my mother, Kathryn Greene Malcolm. What sources she used, I couldn't say but I assume they were records and memories passed down through the family, not formal research.

Mary was born in England. ⁽¹⁾ Abraham RIDEOUT and Mary had the following children:

He was married to Jemima DAVIS in Mar 1714 in Haverhill, Essex Co., MA.^{(2) (3)} Jemima DAVIS was born on Oct 30 1687 in Haverhill, Essex Co., MA. She was born on Oct 30 1697 in Haverhill, Essex Co., MA.⁽²⁾ The Clark and Worth Family Genealogies cited for the date of Jemima Davis' birth includes additional detail on Jemima's ancestors, starting on page 433 with James Davis who was a freeman in Newbury, Essex County, MA, March 4, 1635. By 1639 he was a first settler of Hampton, NH. He moved to East Haverhill in 1644. His wife was Cicely.

James' third child, Ephriam, b. about 1622 in England, died Sep 28 1679. He married Mary Johnson of Andover, Dec 29 1660. They lived in Haverhill.

Their second child, Stephen, b. Jul 15 1663 died in Haverhill before May 25 1719. He married Mary Tucker.

Their 5th child was Jemima. She died on Mar 19 1745. Abraham RIDEOUT and Jemima DAVIS had the following children:
