the blacksmith for Barnby Dun and also Kirk Sandall. His wife Ann w as the executor.

Dun, Yorks, England. In the Burial Record it said that Ann was the son of John
Butler of Briarley. Briarley had be en crossed outed so it is not sure that she
was from Briarley. Children were:

brothers' wills. Both times she is mentioned, she is li sted as the wife of
John Thompson of Whait House.

to the old age of 90. She is also mentioned in two of h er brothers willls.
There is a great consideration from her brother Richard Parkin, who wa s a farmer
and also her brother Thomas.

Amen. This is the last Will and Testament of me Richard Parkin of Whait H ouse
in the Parish of Barnby Dun and County of York Farmer. First I will and direct
that al l my just debts and funeral expenses shall be fully paid and satisfied
by my Executors herei n after named out of my personal estate. I give and bequeath
unto my mother Ann Parkin and m y two sisters that is to Mary Tomson the wife
of John Tomson of Armthorp and Ann Parkin of Ba rnby Dun aforesaid the remainder
of my personal Estate and effects whatsoever to be equally d ivided betwixt my
Mother Ann Parkin, Mary Tomson, and Ann Parkin and also to pay my brother T homas
Parkin one shilling after payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses and
lastl y I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint ------- said my Mother Ann
Parkin my sister Mar y Tomson and my sister Ann Parkin sole Executors of this
my last will and testament in witnes s whereof I have to this my last will and
testament set my hand and seal this fourth dayof No v. in the year of our Lord
one thousand seven hundred and ninety-one Richard Parkin Signed , sealed &
