Jonathan ROBINSON was born in 1762.^{(222) (223)} He was christened on 26 Sep 1762 in Hilston, York, England. ⁽²²⁴⁾ He was buried on 16 Jul 1841 in Campsall, York, England.^{(225) (226)} Jonathan Robinson was not orignally from the Campsall area. He married Sarah Beighton and co ntinued to live in Moss, a small town in the parish of Campsall. He lived long enough to b e listed in the 1841 Census of Moss. He stated in the record that he was born in Yorkshire a nd his occupation was Agricultural Laborer. The only clues that I have about Jonathan Robins on and where he came from are his age that was stated in the burial record that put his birt h year as 1762 and that his grandson Charles Robinson said the family was from Scarborough . In checking the IGI there was a christening for Jonathan Robinson in 1762 in Hilston. Hil ston is south of Scarborough on the east coast of Yorkshire. There is a good possibility tha t the Jonathan Robinson that I found in Hilston is our ancestor. I am listing him in the rec ord with the chance that it may still be wrong. He was married to Sarah BEIGHTON on 23 Nov 1784 in Campsall, York, England.^{(227) (228)}
