HOMAS MORRIS:
Thomas Morris moved to and settled in Holy Shelter Creek, New Hanover Co., NC. His will was written and probated in 1744. Andrew was not mentioned, but James was. Also named in the will were grandsons, Thomas and Charles and his brother, William Morris. His wife, Elizabeth, was not named, indicating she must have preceded him in death. Two male slaves were also mentioned: Dun and Killdare (from NC Land Patent Book One, page 165, 320 and 1707)
