Beersheba Sparks(1) was born about

he had during the 20's and 30's. Beersheba Sparks, 51, shows up as head of
household in the 1850 Yancey County, North Carolina Census with the following
children, George, 19, Allen, 17, Reuben, 12, and Whitfield M. Sparks, age 7.
(Danny A. McBee, Sparks descendant and genealogist). The census of 1850 looks
as if it lists Beersheba Sparks as a female. I don't know. (Danny McBee).

The 1860 Yancey County, North Carolina Census lists Matthew and Elizabeth
